Wunderkammer Display Case

The Wunderkammer is a glass fronted display cabinet inspired by the works of James Krenov. It was made from a single board of American Cherry and finished in linseed oil. It features a single concealed drawer with a pair of mitred trays, all fully lined in pigsuede. The brass hardware was handcrafted to match the overall shape of the cabinet. 

This piece was shortlisted for the 2024 Young Furniture Makers Award, the Alan Peters Furniture Award and was highly commended by the Australian Wood Review.
