Shaker Peg Rail & Accessories
One of the most distinguishing features of the Shaker style is the use of pegboards. These were used to hang anything from small candle holders to cupboards and even chairs. The examples shown are a small example of the versatility of the concept.
Shaker Hanging Clock
Using a high quality quartz movement frees up internal space, making this Shaker classic much more versatile. The lower portion of the case can now be used for storage.
The clock is constructed from American Cherry, featuring a book matched centre door panel. The dial is a unique sunburst marquetry panel using Maple veneer and Rosewood stringing. Elegant shop made brass pulls to match the overall form of the clock. Finished with a traditional French Polish.

Calder Cabinet
An exploration of techniques and ideas from James Krenov.
The cabinet features a coopered asymmetrically curved front door of quarter sawn oak. The cabinet is then made to fit the door. The door pull and shelf supports are both hand carved. Inside, there are two drawers and a removable shelf.
